Privacy policy
This page explains how True Resonance handles data in the browser extension, the Android app and this website.
Who is behind True Resonance
True Resonance is a personal project created by RafaCMur. There is no company behind it. If you have questions about this policy you can contact me at rafacmurdev@gmail.com.
What we do not do
- we do not show ads inside the extension or the Android app
- we do not ask you to create an account to use True Resonance
- we do not use analytics or tracking pixels on the website, the extension or the Android app
- we do not build marketing profiles based on what you listen to
Audio processing and storage
True Resonance retunes audio that is already playing on your device. The Chrome extension processes audio in your browser, using the SoundTouch library and playback controls, and the Android app processes local files on your phone. Audio is not sent to our own servers for processing.
Settings, presets and other state are stored locally on your device or in your browser's storage so the product can remember your preferences. This data is not uploaded to our servers.
Browser extension permissions
The Chrome extension currently uses the storage permission to save your settings in the browser. If future versions require additional permissions, they will be requested in Chrome and used only to support the features you choose to enable.
Children
True Resonance is designed for general use and is not specifically targeted at children.
Changes to this policy
This privacy policy may change over time as True Resonance evolves. If we change how the product handles data, we will update this page to explain the new behaviour.
