Privacy policy (True Resonance Player)

This page explains how True Resonance Player (Android app) handles data.

Who is behind True Resonance

True Resonance Player is a personal project created by RafaCMur. There is no company behind it. If you have questions about this policy you can contact me at rafacmurdev@gmail.com.

What we do not do

  • We do not require an account, email, or login.
  • We do not show ads.
  • We do not use analytics or tracking pixels.
  • We do not upload your local audio files to our servers.

Local audio library

The app scans audio files stored on your device so you can browse and play them in the app. Track metadata (such as title and artist) is read from your local files and stored locally on your device to power features like search and playlists.

Your music files and library data are processed locally on your device. We do not send your local audio, file paths, or listening activity to our own servers.

Payments and Pro

True Resonance Player offers an optional Pro purchase through Google Play Billing. Purchase processing and payment details are handled by Google Play.

We use RevenueCat to help validate purchases and manage Pro entitlements. We do not receive or store your full payment card information.

Data stored on your device

The app stores preferences locally (for example: frequency settings, custom track frequencies, playlists, theme, and Pro status). This data remains on your device until you uninstall the app or clear the app data.

Permissions

The app requests only the permissions required to scan and play your local audio files, and to support in-app purchases.

Children

True Resonance Player is a general-audience music player and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes to this policy

Effective date: 2026-01-02. This policy may change over time as True Resonance Player evolves. If we change how the app handles data, we will update this page.
